The successful start-up of 3rd new 8.7m BOPP Line

At 13:58 PM on January 24, the newly-installed world-leading BOPP film production line in FOROP Fuqing Intelligent Industrial Park (No.: 2166FAB) has been officially put into operation. Forop’s co-president, Mr. Mao Jianquan and Brückner's Project Manager, Mr. Christoph Bombik attended the launch ceremony to witness this exciting moment.

Forop officially introduces and operates the 3rd state-of-the-art multi-layer, 8.7 meters wide BOPP line with a line speed of 600 meters per minute delivered by Brückner Maschinenbau. Currently, the fastest (600m/min) production line with same working width in China, its mechanical design and automatic control have adopted the leading-edge technology, in which provides productive advantages: flexible adjustment of multi-layer structure, various types of applicable formulation and wider application range of BOPP film products. With this new line, Forop increases productivity and reduces energy consumption at the same time. That’s two of our major goals for our future film production focusing on environmental sustainability. Overall, Forop looks forward to the next project together with Brückner to increase our film production capacity to guarantee the best film supply to our customers in and outside of China.

As the start of 2024, the successful operation of the production line marks a new leap in the process of FOROP becoming the world's leading polymer film manufacturer globally.

Subsequently, various bases of Furong New Materials will continue to orderly advance the commissioning of more new production lines according to the established goals, extending the industrial chain layout, and striving to achieve the planned production and standards of the smart industrial park project.
